THE BONES PROJECT

The Bones Project is a generative AI exploration, combined with analog photography, digital manipulation, sculpture, mask photography, X-ray imagery, and drawings, reimagining the Frankenstein monster archetype through a contemporary lens. The series delves into the relationship between bones, death, and the remnants of life, blending traditional media and cutting-edge technology to offer a raw, intimate reflection on mortality and the fragility of existence.

The project features photographs of masks, sculptures, and X-ray images of bones, each adding to the narrative of decay and resurrection. The imagery is complemented by hand-drawn sketches, creating a layered, multifaceted exploration of the body and its physical traces.

At its culmination, the project culminates in the installation of oversized X-ray machines within a small space known as La Chapelle Frankenstein, transforming the room into an immersive environment that embodies the themes of creation, decay, and the passage of time. The installation immerses the viewer in a world where the boundaries between life, death, and the remnants of existence are blurred.
