artist synthographer researcher TRAINER

Interdisciplinary artist and designer passionate, I’m crafting immersive visual narratives that blend art, technology, and contemporary mythologies.

My work explores the boundaries between the real and the fictional, the organic and the digital. I create deep narrative worlds often inhabited by hybrid figures, combining synthography, video, generative music, and poetic writing.

With a background in visual arts, cultural mediation, and academic research, I’ve taught at university level, led art school graduation juries, published several articles, and spoken at international conferences on visual culture and marginal aesthetics.

My approach is rooted in research-creation, at the intersection of artistic experimentation, interface design, and the critical issues surrounding emerging technologies.

FRANCE ⌁ WORLDWIDE

My name is Alexandrine, founder of Studio Aartus Design Lab.

With a background in contemporary arts, cultural mediation, and academic research, I have published seven articles (La Sorbonne, Université Rennes 2, etc.), contributed 15 book reviews (Critique d’Art magazine), and spoken at 14 international conferences on the fusion of popular and academic art in marginal cultures. Notably, in 2024, I spoke at the Journées francophones de la Recherche en Histoire de la Photographie on AI learning for individuals unfamiliar with photographic culture.

Beyond research, I have curated an exhibition on the history of punk zines, organized two volumes of Les Rencontres de la Création Contemporaine—featuring artists such as Aïda Bruyère, Hélène Souillard, Aurore Le Duc, and 16b —and played a key role in contemporary artistic pedagogy. Since 2022, I have been a professor of applied arts at the Centre de Formation des Apprentis in Abbeville, led the jury direction for the DNA at ESAC Cambrai, and taught seminars on iconography and artistic editorial practices at Université Rennes 2 and ESADHaR Rouen.

My work spans synthography, immersive storytelling, and digital worldbuilding, with a commitment to pushing creative boundaries through AI.
